Obituary for Judith Scrivner

Mrs. Judith E. Scrivner, age 75 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Judy was born April 11, 1942 in Sturgeon, Mo. the daughter of Floyd W. and Neola M. Chick Wade. She was married on May 25, 1985 in Russellville, Mo. to Roger Scrivner.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Judy attended Sturgeon High School in Sturgeon, Mo.

Judy was employed with the Laboratory Center at the University of Missouri at Columbia for several years and later as a Claims Adjuster with Shelter Insurance for sixteen years until ill health forced her retirement.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jefferson City.

Judy enjoyed the outdoors including deer hunting, fishing, and gardening. Most importantly, she cherished her time with her family.

Survivors include: her husband of thirty-two years, Roger Scrivner; five children, Lawrence Redington and his wife Vikki of Hillsboro, Mo. and their children, Nicholas, Samuel, and Seth Redington, Richard Redington of Camdenton, Mo. and his children, Brandon, Riley, and Max Redington, Tammi Lambert and her husband Steve of Springfield and their children, Derrick Green, Drew Green, and Cheressa Lambert, Lynda Johnson of Jefferson City, Mo. and her children, Chase Johnson, Connor Johnson, and Hailee Johnson, and Daryl Isgrig of Columbia, Mo. and his son, Dalton Isgrig; three step sons, Brad Scrivner and his wife Angie of Holts Summit, Mo. and their children, Emily Scrivner and Olivia Scrivner, Brent Scrivner and his wife Shelly of Jefferson City, Mo. and their daughter, Zoe Scrivner, and Barry Scrivner of Olathe, Kansas and his children, Hannah Kevern and Lindsay Hall; four siblings, Jackie Wade Beal and her husband Roy of Jefferson City, Mo., Floyd Jerrold Wade of Fulton, Mo., Nancy Compton of Centralia, Mo., and Michael Wade of Fulton, Mo.; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be at the Cornerstone Baptist Church from 10:00 until 11:00 am Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church with the Reverend Brian Credelle officiating. Private interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
