Michael K. Crawley, age 54, of Holts Summit, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Capital Region Medical Center.
Michael was born on April 9, 1963 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, a son of Winfred and Herta (Ebner) Crawley. He was a 1981 graduate of Rockdale High School in Rockdale, Texas.
Michael was a talented musician and guitar player with his influence coming from his love of classic rock music. He loved life and lived it to the fullest and nobody mattered more to Michael than the people that he loved. Michael was known for his bigger than life personality, playing pranks, and never taking life too seriously.
Survivors include: his children, Heather Crawley of Temple, Texas, and Brianna (Jacob) Holland of Holts Summit, Missouri; his siblings, Fred (Donna) Crawley of San Diego, California, Charlotte Warren of Pensacola, Florida, Barbara Saenz of Palmer, Alaska, and Robert Zellner of Munich, Germany; his mother, Herta Price of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, Caytlin Vega, Marysol Cabral, Aiden Tolbert, and Kevin Holland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Crawley, his daughter, Bethany Turley, and his best four-legged pal, Sienna.
Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 am Saturday, January 20, 2018. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Debbie Campbell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
