Obituary for David Davidson
Mr. David Allen Davidson, age 37 years, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.
He was born on January 23, 1980 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the son of Larry Wayne and Mary Ann (Barnhart) Davidson.
A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City, David was a 1999 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
He enjoyed working at McDonalds on Jefferson as a fry cook.
In his free time, David loved to visit his dad’s house. He had an impressive collection of movies and comic books and was an outstanding uncle to his niece and two nephews. He was an avid reader and made frequent trips to the public library. David had an ear for all types of music and was a gamer; he enjoyed playing cards and his Xbox. David will be remembered as a selfless person who would do anything he could for anyone in need.
Survivors include: his father, Larry Davidson of Patton, Mo.; his sister, Holly Randolph and her husband Jeremy of Jefferson City, Mo.; his niece, Kelli Nystrom; his two nephews, Erek Nystrom and Aiden Randolph; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Barnhart in 2015, his paternal grandmother in 2016 and his maternal grandmother in 2017.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the David Davidson Memorial Fund.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
