She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Rose Cedervall.

Our deepest sympathy to you Kevin and all of your family, we will never forget Bettie. A special memory we will keep forever in our hearts is when Bettie and her daughter Christina came to our homes and brought each of us a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. She was always so thoughtful and caring of others. She will be dearly missed! You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time of deep sorrow! May God be close to you at this time and help you on the weakest of days and give strength! We will always remember you and Bettie as our dear Corp Officers.

Even though we haven't seen Kevin and Bettie for years, We can clearly remember her always smiling. She was soft spoken and very kind in those Dover days. There are not words to express our symathy. We will continue to pray for all of the family as you go through this very difficult time. Praying for the peace that passes understanding that only Jesus can give.

Shock, that is what struck me when Karen Daniels told me about Bettie. I got to know Bettie while her and Kevin were in Petoskey, MI helping the corp before the went to College for Officer Training. I remember the fun, friendship and kindness that she bestowed on a group of teenagers, especially us girls. My foundest memory is of the carwash we did at The Salvation Army.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss in the Family. Bettie sounded like a wonderful Lady which I am sure she is. I grew up attending The Salvation Army and had tried out Training College. My kids and I now go for the past two years to a Lutheran Church. I still work for The Army in Divisional Headquarters and have Family that are Officers and oldiers of their Corps. May God hold the Family in His hands as He holds Bettie at His Heart now. God be with you all

Kevin, our hearts go out to you and your family. Our paths have not crossed very often since our days together in Quincy with you and Bettie. Chritina was probably one year old. The world needs more of the tenderness and warmth that Bettie extended to all she met. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. May the comfort and strength of God the Holy Spirit be yours in great measure as you face these challenging days. Many are standing with you and with you in friendship and love. Herb & Yaneth Fuqua
