Mrs. Clara A. Hug, age 84 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born December 5, 1925 in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter of Henry and Anna Blum Breidenbach.  She was married on December 31, 1954 in St. Louis, Mo. to Donald E. Hug.

A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1968, Clara was employed as a bookbinder at Von Hoffman, Inc. for twenty years until her retirement in 1989.

Clara enjoyed fishing and quilting.

Survivors include: her husband Donald E. Hug; one daughter, Donna  Parish and her husband Bill of Jefferson City,  Mo.; one sister, Henrietta Edmonds of Licking, Mo.; one granddaughter, Lisa Yarberry and her husband Jeremy of Garden City, Kansas; and one great granddaughter, Renee Yarberry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.

A private family service will be conducted at a later date.

Funeral  arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
