I send my deepest sympathy. I remember Budge, and you also, Bruce, as young ice skaters in our skating program and skating club, and you also took part in one or more ice shows. I also remember your mother. Budge and all of you were personable, supportive and active people. I certainly do remember all of you. My best to you.

Jennifer, you know that Roy and I have been friends for many years and were fellow "trainheads". One of our big accomplishments, along with two other friends, was the construction and operation of the Christmas train layout at the Governor's mansion for several years. What fun! Our last trip was up to Mexico to see a club layout and I am so glad we went. I'll miss Budge a lot. |

Dear Truesdale Family:
I grew up across the street from Budge and his family. Budge was like an older brother to me. I always liked his energy, enthusiasm, smile, and personality. After losing touch with him while in college, I walked by a Marine recruiting booth at Westminster and struck up a conversation with the young officer who handed me a Marine brochure. When I paged through the brochure I saw a picture of Budge who was profiled as a model Marine officer. I told the recruiter that I knew Budge and I was not surprised to see he was in the Marine promotional material. Budge was a good marine and an even better man! My thoughts are with you and your family. |
