Aunt Linda, you've been taken from us too soon. Life has no time line. We're not guaranteed tomorrow. Life works according to God's will. Your home now with Grandma & Grandpa. Free from your head aches, pains, arthritis, diabetes; no more medications, needles & doctor appointments. You loved me like a daughter. Told me I was your other baby. Taught me to cook and showered me with endless kisses and hugs. Took me in and gave me a place to sleep, eat and always made me feel right at home. Made me smile with your "Linda Charm" & since of humor. You were always there for me. Always offering your wisdom and advice to a young, naive little girl. I know your favorite poem is Footprints. You, Linda, Have left your footprints in my heart so profound, I still feel your love as if you were standing next to me, whispering in my ear "I love you, baby girl". Holding my face and kissing me on the cheek. I can feel you so close right now; your soft hair, your fragrance. Now you have gone home to Jesus. Life here is temporary anyway; you've always knew that. I know I'll see you again some day. We'll be together in the kingdom of heaven. Please wait for me; watch over me. You left your footprints in many people's hearts. You were everyone's Aunt Linda and you were a Mom to so many. You took people in your home; gave them a meal and place to rest. Always so cool with everyone. You didn't have much to give but you definitely gave your all. You WILL NOT be forgotten. I will celebrate your life; I'll be telling your story, Linda Hill, until I'm an old lady in my rocking chair. I cherish all the memories of my Aunt Linda; Until we meet again. I LOVE YOU! oxoxoxox
Your Niece,
Lonni Humphrey |
