I first met Col. Patterson at Camp Clark when I was in the Guard but also a civilian contractor working at the Camp. I enjoyed working with Col. Patterson and found him to be one of the finest gentlemen I ever had the privilege to meet. He will surely be missed. As a then very young soldier he made me feel comfortable around my superiors and I have always been grateful for it. He was one of a kind, and my prayers to to the family.
