My dearest Naomi, the one closest to my heart. After meeting on the gym seats om 1973 we continued to keep in touch. We have been so close for so many years that we became to have a sisterly love. I will miss our 4 to 8 phone calls a day - me waking you up from snoring and you doing the same. Those are the times I will miss the most. We definitely had some marathon phone calls. I thank you for teaching me about Fybromyalgia - the very disease I ended up with three years ago after my illness. At least I had your kindred friendship. Oh Naomi,I already missed my morning phone call. I do know you are already with Kim, my daddy and your daddy. There are so many others you'll see. Send me a little note and a joke once in a while so I know your with me. p.s. I already copped off with your snowman friendships figurine and i might ask for a couple more.. I know those were your favorite so I wanted one beside me to feel close to you each day. I love you Naomi and I'll never forget our friendship here on earth.

When I moved to Jefferson City from Texas, my freshman year of high school, Naomi was one of the few people who was truly nice to me. We stayed friends throughout high school and when we all went off to college, she and I decided to be roommates. I have many great memories of our time together in the dorm (there were 6 of us in our suite!) and in our apartment. Naomi was always sweet and kind and enjoyed a laugh or two. In fact, I would never have joined Delta Zeta sorority if it hadn't been for her and Tina. I respected their judgment and figured if it was good enough for them it was good enough for me too. I was not disappointed and have many more great memories of our times together in the sorority as roommates, friends, and "sisters". When Naomi was living in Kansas City we "hung out" periodically and caught up on old times and each others current lives; she was a great person to talk to. Once she moved back to Jefferson City, we hadn't kept in touch as much as before but I still considered her to be a very dear friend. She will truly be missed. Naomi was a great person who touched many people's lives in positive ways. My heart goes out to you and the rest of your family at this sad time, may she rest in peace. Tami Wall

Mrs. Zimmerman, Asami, Bill: You may not remember me, but Naomi and I were best buddies first grade through sixth grade! Lesa Griffen notified me of Naomi's passing. May I gently say that Naomi contributed so much to so many lives while the Lord allowed her to be here. May you know how I remember her: a wonderful person, so intelligent, so inspiring, with such perseverence--and I knew that about her JUST in grade school!! Imagine the impact she made since then! I have nothing but fond memories of our sleep-overs as grade-school girls: and what a joy she was--and still is in my heart. Much love to all, knowing that she is with the Lord and that we will see her again, Carmen Laney Dampf
