Dear Mollie, Hugs, sweetie, it's hard. I'm glad I got to know Koil even a little, and to hear his classical radio broadcasts, and looked forward to his Christmas letters---nobody had such a command of language as he, nor as eloquent at presenting his faith. And I'm grateful for his enduring friendship with Bill. When I find the pictures from Bill's party at the lake, I'll send some. God bless you. EJ

Molly, You are in our thoughts & prayers. The church will definitely not be the same without Koil. I wish he could send us an email telling us what heaven is like. I'm going to miss not getting his emails. I bet he's having some interesting conversations, & I bet he likes the music & the food & his new body. In fact, I'm certain that there is nothing he doesn't like.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I had the privilege of knowing Koil for thirty years. In business or those famous "law office lunches"; Koil always had a smile and would make you laugh. He shall be missed but the fond memories last.

Molly, Koil, as always, was modest and to the point in his "last letter." When Koil and I first met, it was the Tuesday after Labor Day in 1935, and both of were wearing short pants. And it will be on a Tuesday when we say our last goodbyes and prepare for the next hellos. Cee and I had hoped to get in one more lovely conversation before the "homecoming" but we'll have one in his honor later on. God's Best. John abd Cee

Molly, I send my dear love and condolences to you and your family. Although I only met you and Koil once, as you know Koil and I e-mailed every week for almost 10 years. This man was so special to me and taught me so much. He boosted my spirits when I was down, and gave me confidence re my ideas and thoughts on so many subjects. I admire the dedication, nursing care and love you gave so consistently to your dear Koil for so many years.I know he is now with the Lord, and I pray for you and your family during this time, but know you are left with so many decades of wonderful memories that will help. My sincerest sympathy to you and your sons, Mrs Rowland. Even talking to Mr Rowland at Christmas he was still humourous and complaining about my dad unfairly distributing the odds in their annual college bowl betting. He will certainly leave a gap in the Thompson household.

Dear sweet Molly, you can be at peace knowing that Koil has been healed of all his misery and illness. You will be in my prayers, as usual. The Lord took Koil by the hand and showed him the way to heaven, and He will hold you in the palms of His hands and comfort you, too. My love to you, Molly... Bobbie
